Description
Lightweight climbing and mountaineering helmet
Climbing and mountaineering are your passion? Then the METEOR helmet is perfect for you! It's light, compact, and excellently ventilated to accompany you all year on the mountain. The special construction and head-enveloping shape provide increased protection across the entire head area. The comfortable helmet is also perfect for climbers with long hair, as the headband has a generous cutout for hair tied in a ponytail. Additionally, the helmet allows for attaching a headlamp so you can rely on it even on night tours.
Lightweight, compact, and ventilated helmet:
- Just 235 g in size S/M and 245 g in size M/L.
- In-mold construction with an inner shell made of EPS foam molded under a thin outer shell of polycarbonate for a compact fit on the head.
- Large ventilation openings for maximum air circulation.
- The semi-rigid headband is easy to adjust even with gloves.
- OMEGA headband with a generous cutout for long hair tied in a ponytail.
- Chin band with minimalist buckle with a locking cover to prevent accidental opening.
- Two headlamp clips in front and an elastic band in back for attaching a headlamp.
- The headband can be stored in the helmet shell for storage and transport.
Enhanced head protection for sport climbing and mountaineering:
- Designed according to the Petzl TOP AND SIDE PROTECTION label.
- Head-enveloping design for optimal impact protection on the sides and front and back of the head.
Environmentally friendly design and repairability:
- The helmet consists of 18% bio-based or recycled materials.
Comfort padding and buckle are available as spare parts to extend the helmet's lifespan.
Note: the helmet does not meet the requirements of the EN 18100: 2024 standard for ski touring helmets.

In-stock items usually ship from our warehouse within 1 to 3 working days. If the item is in stock in one of our stores, you can also pick it up there free of charge. In Pfronten this also works for items that are only in stock in Ronsberg: we bring them over, which usually takes 2 to 4 days. The pickup note above and the checkout show where and when you can pick up. Skis with binding mounting take a little longer: we mount them carefully and let you know as soon as your set is on its way. Personal advice is available by appointment in our store in Ronsberg. Warranty & returns
Statutory warranty rights apply, plus the manufacturer's guarantee where one is granted. You can return unused items within 14 days of receipt; register the return in your customer account. We refund the purchase price of the items minus a 5 € return fee (6.90 € from abroad); you receive the return label from us. Skis mounted according to your details are excluded from exchange.
