Ortovox Haute Route 40

The HAUTE ROUTE has been around almost since the birth of ski touring. Our proven classic is perfect for longer ski traverses. Through the use of Cordura® and PFC-free double-layer polyamide 420D Oxford, the HAUTE ROUTE 40 is extremely abrasion-resistant and thanks to PU coating on all fabrics, additionally water-repellent. For optimal fit, load control straps and the O-Flex-2 back system with ergonomic fit and an S-shaped stabilizer distribute weight evenly between hips and shoulders even over long periods. The hip flares connect on the inside to the back system so they can enclose your body completely and comfortably. With its larger volume, everything that should be included fits in the HAUTE ROUTE 40. The spacious main compartment is accessible from the top and back, so all your things are at hand quickly, while the separate safety compartment simultaneously guarantees quick access to emergency equipment. Thanks to rope attachment on the backpack lid, a carried rope can be quickly packed or unpacked without opening the lid. In addition to crampon attachment, ice axe and pole attachment, and fixed helmet net, flexible carrying attachments are also available, for example for a snowboard. Skis can be attached classically or diagonally to the ski touring backpack. No matter how long and demanding it gets, with the HAUTE ROUTE 40 you're well-prepared for any multi-day tour.

In-stock items usually ship from our warehouse within 1 to 3 working days. If the item is in stock in one of our stores, you can also pick it up there free of charge. In Pfronten this also works for items that are only in stock in Ronsberg: we bring them over, which usually takes 2 to 4 days. The pickup note above and the checkout show where and when you can pick up. Skis with binding mounting take a little longer: we mount them carefully and let you know as soon as your set is on its way. Personal advice is available by appointment in our store in Ronsberg.
