Ortovox FREE RIDER 26 S

The FREE RIDER 26 S clings to your back in any terrain, like a second skin. This is mainly due to the flat, elastic CLASP FLEX BELT, which provides control in every situation and reliable support. The soft back pads conform to your back without hindering your spine's movement. On the inside, the backpack back can be enhanced with the CLASP SPINE PROTECTOR. The spinal protector is certified to motorcycle standards and is available separately. It can be easily inserted into a separate interior pocket. In addition to your safety, the environment is also in focus: the freeride backpack is completely PFC-free and thanks to recycled polyester, also climate neutral.

To adjust the backpack optimally on the go, it can be quickly compressed with side-integrated straps and folds to fit snugly like a second skin on your back. For rappelling in steep gullies or short hiking sections, the freeride backpack has all necessary attachment points for skis, ice axes or rope, plus the proven helmet net, emergency card and drinking system prep. All features are well-stowed externally to prevent snagging in rough terrain.

The freeride backpack also offers enough space for climbing skins and ski crampons to be particularly flexible on the mountain. In the separate safety pocket, emergency equipment is well stored and quickly at hand, while all other items are accessible from the front or back access in the main pocket. The FREE RIDER 26 S is a versatile companion for maximum flexibility and freedom of movement on skis.

In-stock items usually ship from our warehouse within 1 to 3 working days. If the item is in stock in one of our stores, you can also pick it up there free of charge. In Pfronten this also works for items that are only in stock in Ronsberg: we bring them over, which usually takes 2 to 4 days.
