You benefit from ventilation techniques normally used on road helmets, so you can keep your cool when choosing increasingly challenging lines on the trail.

Optimized for comfort and ventilation, the helmet is our lightest trail helmet yet and offers the right, lightweight protection for fast downcountry and cross-country riding.

We built extensive CFD (computational fluid dynamics) models and tested the airflow through and around the helmet. All this to make sure you always keep a cool head on the trail, regardless of the speed you ride or how technical the terrain is.

When it comes to safety, the Cularis makes no compromises. It shares the same design language as its siblings, the Kortal and the Otocon. It offers proven extended protection zones and robust construction. This means you can ride with confidence knowing the Cularis will protect you from all kinds of obstacles on the trail.

Another highlight is the patented POC Breakaway helmet visor, which tears off the helmet in an accident and diverts impact forces away from the head. The visor is adjustable so you can easily find the best position to protect your eyes from the sun or from rain and mud spray.

Aramid bridges between helmet lining and helmet shell improve both structural stability and penetration protection. The Mips Air Node improves rotational impact protection.

A glasses holder in the front ventilation openings provides secure storage for sunglasses while riding, and a Fidlock ripcord make it easy to close the helmet with just one hand.


TECHNICAL DETAILS

• PC shell: The outer PC shell is lightweight and improves the structural integrity of the helmet.
• EPS inner shell: The helmet's expanded polystyrene (EPS) liner is optimised to provide additional protection in the areas most likely to suffer from impact forces.
• CFD-optimised ventilation: Extensive CFD (computational fluid dynamics) simulations were carried out to optimise the helmet's ventilation.
• Optimised heat flow: The helmet feels cool because the entire airflow has been carefully optimised to ensure body heat can escape effectively.
• Patented breakaway helmet visor: The patented breakaway helmet visor breaks away in a fall to protect the neck area and reduce injury risk.
• Adjustable 360° fit: A lightweight 360° adjustment system makes it easy to find a secure, comfortable fit.
• Extended protection: Extended zones at the temples and back of head provide additional protection in high-risk areas
• Glasses holder: High-friction pads on the front of the helmet make it easy to store sunglasses while riding.
• Fidlock® buckle: With the Fidlock® buckle, the helmet can be easily closed and secured with just one hand.
• Mips Air Node: The Mips Air Node module is integrated into the helmet's comfort padding and provides improved rotational impact protection.
