Raceface Atlas Pedal AM22

The 2022-generation Race Face Atlas flat pedals combine large platforms with adjustable pins for mountain biking. A 6061 aluminium body is paired with a chromoly-steel axle. The broad platform helps position your shoe, while pin height can be adjusted to suit your preferred contact feel. Several colour options let you match the pedals to your bike.

Selection and use

Choose your colour and check the mounting requirements for your cranks. Use suitable footwear with flat pedals and practise foot positioning on easy terrain first. When changing pin height, keep every component securely installed according to Race Face’s instructions. Pay attention when stepping on and off the grippy platform, particularly if you are changing from a different pedal style.

Care and checks

Remove dirt regularly and inspect pins for secure attachment and damage. Check the bearings for unusual play or resistance too. Follow the instructions for the PD22 generation when servicing or selecting spare parts. Have uncertain damage assessed before riding again, and use the specified tools and manufacturer torque settings for installation.
