Don't take it lightly – the weight of the children's bike
Especially for children's bikes, the weight of the bike plays a crucial role in addition to the right size: it should be as light as possible! This is best explained by putting the situation in relation to a bike for adults. While a normal bike for an adult usually weighs around 20 percent of their body weight, this value can be between 40 and 80 percent for a child depending on the bike model.
Too heavy, too much, too bad: a heavyweight bike drains strength, causes frustration, and in the worst case can even lead to accidents. A lightweight 20 inch bike accelerates faster, is much easier to pedal uphill, and also handles better in turns. This makes cycling fun for students – and above all, it's safe!

In-stock items usually ship from our warehouse within 1 to 3 working days. If the item is in stock in one of our stores, you can also pick it up there free of charge. In Pfronten this also works for items that are only in stock in Ronsberg: we bring them over, which usually takes 2 to 4 days. The pickup note above and the checkout show where and when you can pick up. Skis with binding mounting take a little longer: we mount them carefully and let you know as soon as your set is on its way. Personal advice is available by appointment in our store in Ronsberg. Warranty & returns
