The frame geometries resemble the Jena and offer endurance performance with a comfortable position for long hours in the saddle. The Jena Hybrid is equipped with traditional components: hydraulic disc brakes, 11-speed derailleur, and rims made of carbon or aluminum. The only component added to the conventional setup is the rear hub, which houses the Ebikemotion motor with 40 Nm that assists pedaling. The required energy is supplied by the 250 Wh battery, which is perfectly integrated into the inner tube. System control (on/off, monitoring) is via the iWoc button mounted on the handlebar. This allows selection of the various assist levels on our Jena Hybrid bike.

WIDE RANGE OF APPLICATIONS
Jena sets no limits on the versatility of applications and available configurations. The space between frame/fork and wheels allows mounting of voluminous tires on 28" wheels or 650B MTB wheels. With 28" rims, up to 44 mm wide tires can be mounted, and in combination with 650B MTB rims, up to 48 mm wide 1.95" tires (tested with Vittoria tires). Numerous attachment points are available for bottle holders, bags, racks, or fenders. For example, two water bottles or a lowrider rack for bags can be mounted on the front fork.
 

FEELING LIKE A NORMAL GRAVEL BIKE
The motor integrated into the rear hub enables bottom bracket sizing like a traditional bike. The installable cranksets are standard cranksets. A solution where the pedaling feel remains the same, whether e-bike or classic bike.
 

MORE RIDING SAFETY
With the iWoc button mounted on the handlebar, we achieved a high level of riding safety. The button is now mounted with a bracket at the handlebar bend. This allows the cyclist to operate the Ebikemotion system without taking their hands off the handlebar. With the Jena Hybrid, both selection of the assist level and checking the battery charge level are possible. Both hands can remain on the handlebar, allowing you to safely ride off-road at all times.

LIKE THE PEDALING FEEL ON A CONVENTIONAL BIKE
The X35+ electric drive system comprises a series of components that integrate perfectly into the most modern road bikes. With a total weight (motor, battery, cables, controller) of just 3.5 kg, it's one of the lightest electric drive systems in the world. The X35+ version allows connection via ANT+ communication protocol to the most modern bike computers on the market.
 

MOTOR IN THE REAR HUB
The drive motor is built into the rear hub. The electric drive system engages particularly smoothly and quietly. When you stop pedaling or exceed 25 km/h speed, it disengages without any brake friction felt while pedaling.
 

GENTLE POWER
A torque of 40 Nm is perfect for road use or lightweight gravel frames. The not-too-high power allows battery life to be managed during fast rides and races. When the motor engages, it feels like someone is pushing you when climbing or starting off.
 

BATTERY CAPACITY 250 WH
A medium capacity perfect for lightweight e-bikes like those in the Hybrid series. Battery that fits very inconspicuously into the down tube thanks to its small size. The system's total capacity thus allows for tours with significant elevation changes.
 

EXPAND YOUR RANGE OF OPERATIONS
Auxiliary battery to extend your pedaling horizons. A capacity that allows you to increase the duration of power output by approximately 80%. Thanks to the construction standard, the auxiliary battery can be attached to the brackets for the second water bottle on the seat tube.
 

RECORD LIGHTWEIGHT
The lowest weight of an electric drive system. Miniaturization, combined with skillful calibration of the technical features of the devices, enables record-breaking performance in terms of weight.
 

BLUETOOTH CONNECTION
The system communicates with external devices via a Bluetooth protocol. A connectivity capability that allows you to receive a wide variety of additional information about the bike's condition and its technical specifications.
 

EFFICIENT START TORQUE
The particularly lightweight motor increases pedaling efficiency thanks to a start torque of maximum 250 watts. Depending on how the bike is used, the motor engages by following the power output curve. The pedaling rhythm also influences the power output, which remains smooth and efficient without any perceptible resistance.
