The Filante SL has inherited its forms, lines, and racing spirit from the Filante SLR, Wilier's top aero road bike that is used by professionals in the most prestigious World Tour races. What makes the switch worthwhile is the application of some simple technical solutions. Compared to the SLR version, the different lamination of the carbon fiber in the frame is less extreme and more comfortable. And all this with a weight increase of less than 150g in the same size.


Aerodynamics and World Tour design
Carbon fiber describes a frame that traces the lines of the Filante SLR, which is used by the professionals of the Groupama FDJ Cycling Team. By using different composite materials that describe new lamination, the frame module changes. The substance changes, but not the aerodynamic performance.

Intelligent integration
No visible cables. The monocoque handlebars allow the Filante product line charm to be retained. A technical decision that keeps prices low without compromising performance and enables simple customization of the equipment.
