From this tension, Adlar emerged. The bicycle as a means to give things meaning and clarify your view of the world. An object that simultaneously mutates, changes, and transforms. And is that not exactly what gravel riding is all about?
Wilier has looked at their bikes. Rave SLR: the competition. Jena, Jaroon, and Jareen: all-rounders with various carbon and aluminum frames. They realized that gravel is also, and increasingly, an adventure, a more or less conscious way of capturing forms and their meanings through the journey. Climbs, descents, encounters, hours in the saddle, completely autonomous, without time pressure. Alone or accompanied.
Maximum load: 35 kg
Adlar is aimed at bike packers, explorers, and cycle travelers. The carbon fiber frame structure has been reinforced to allow a maximum additional load of 35 kg. To achieve this quality, we combined new shapes, careful study of geometries, and fully integrated cable routing.
Something else
The frame weighs 1,100 g and is available in five sizes: XS, S, M, L, XL. The geometry is derived from the mountain bike: the horizontal extension of the frame triangle (reach) is pronounced. This solution allows the use of a shorter stem. This works in synergy with the open angle of the headset (70°). A development that ensures handling and control on the most demanding trails with a loaded bike.
Ready for change
Thanks to the large tire clearance, gravel tires from 52 mm (52-622) up to 29 x 2.00" mountain bike tires can be used. The frame is designed for a fork with particularly long chain stays. This configuration allows the installation of a suspension fork (maximum travel of 40 mm, compatible with conical headset 1" 1/4 – 1"1/2) without changing the overall geometry of the frame. There is also a hole on the right fork leg for cable routing of a possible dynamo hub. The seatpost (27.2 mm) can also be replaced by a telescopic system.
Bikepacking kit
The accessories are rounded out with fenders (sold separately) and a set of four bags with quick-release fasteners, developed in collaboration with Miss Grape.
Attachment and loading points
Front and rear racks distribute the weight of the bags on the thru-axles that pass through the frame and fork. A decision that reduces the structural load on Adlar. Additional attachment points provide stability, and a third water bottle or tool holder as well as a top tube bag can be mounted under the main tube.
Integrated fender
The equipment includes only single chainrings. This decision made it possible to dispense with the vertical stem tube of the front derailleur. In this area, the shapes were flattened for a small integrated fender.

In-stock items usually ship from our warehouse within 1 to 3 working days. If the item is in stock in one of our stores, you can also pick it up there free of charge. In Pfronten this also works for items that are only in stock in Ronsberg: we bring them over, which usually takes 2 to 4 days. The pickup note above and the checkout show where and when you can pick up. Warranty & returns
