Meindl Lugano Men mahagoni

The men's Meindl Lugano in Mahagoni is a leather shoe for everyday wear, travel and easy walks on well-maintained paths. This version carries Meindl article number 5169-39. Its Comfort fit design offers extra space around the forefoot while aiming for a secure heel fit. Trying the shoes on is the best way to assess whether that shape suits your feet.

The upper is made from milled nubuck leather and is paired with a leather lining. This combination defines the character of the low-cut shoe. A Comfort fit cork footbed with fleece and a Meindl Comfort Hiker sole complete the construction. No waterproof membrane is specified for this version, so take weather and trail conditions into account when planning your outing.

Meindl lists a reference weight of 570 g for the model. Actual weight may vary with size. The low-cut design allows freedom of movement around the ankle and suits everyday walks and straightforward hiking routes. For demanding alpine terrain or activities requiring additional ankle protection, choose footwear designed for those conditions.

Try the Lugano on with the socks you intend to wear. Check for adequate toe room, comfortable support and evenly adjusted lacing. Gently brush away dry dirt and use a nubuck-compatible care product according to the manufacturer's instructions. Allow damp shoes to air-dry slowly and keep them away from direct radiator heat.
