Description
The FREERIDE 108 is a freeride ski for big mountain riders who mean business on "big lines," in any terrain.
At 108mm waist width, it's the widest and one of the most exciting skis Marcel Hirscher has developed:
Easy to control, light in the air, running smoothly at high speeds, and with brilliant float in deep snow—this ski is your "buddy" that makes you rule the whole mountain.
It surfs through waist-high powder, plows through cut-up snow, is super nimble, responsive, and able to find sufficient grip even on harder terrain.
Tip & tail rocker are just as much part of the construction as the typical VAN DEER components:
a poplar wood core, reinforced by double titanal and carbon layers, continuous ABS sidewalls, racing edges, a P-Tex racing base, plus a few other secret ingredients.
And because for Marcel only "perfect" is good enough, the Freeride 108 also gets a true race room finish.
SPECIFIC DATA:
- Carbon fiberglass prepreg
- Paulownia wood core
- Titanal
- Freeride base
