Colltex Racefix-Set

The Colltex Racefix kit is a front attachment for ski tips with a notch. It contains two elastic cords, two cord stoppers, two washers and six rivets for self-assembly. These components form the elastic tip attachment of a suitable climbing skin and complement the mechanical connection between skin and ski.

Choose for a notched ski tip

Before ordering and assembling the kit, check that your ski tip has the intended notch and that the skin construction suits Racefix. Compare the arrangement with Colltex's guidance. The exact fit depends on the ski and skin, so choose the parts as a compatible attachment system.

Assemble and check the parts

Lay out the cords, stoppers, washers and rivets and inspect their condition. Follow Colltex's assembly instructions using suitable tools. Afterwards, check the seating at the ski tip and the connections to the skin. Inspect the elastic parts and attachment points before a tour and again after transport. A specialist skin retailer can help with questions about preparing the skin or fitting the attachment.
