Ortovox Pocket Spike
Description
Your trump card on the last meters to the summit!
The POCKET SPIKE is as simple as it is clever!
Carried most of the time in your backpack (or pants pocket - hence the name), the POCKET SPIKE comes into use when things get tricky on the last meters to the summit or during an awkward traverse on steep terrain.
It can be fitted onto the handle of the PRO ALU III shovel in two quick steps and thus provides additional protection.
The POCKET SPIKE consists of two parts:
The biting forged pick made from AL 7075 T6 and the shaft, which replaces the shovel blade.
Both parts can be pushed together without sharp edges and weigh just 95 grams.
Suitable for tours where you appreciate some extra support on the last few meters.
