Colltex Hotmelt tape 150mm 4m

Colltex Hotmelt Tape in 150 mm width and a 4 m roll is intended for completely renewing the hotmelt adhesive layer on suitable climbing skins. Use it for recoating when the existing adhesive layer needs replacement.

Preparation and transfer

Remove the old hotmelt adhesive as thoroughly as possible using heat and a scraper. Transfer the new adhesive layer from the tape with an iron. Follow the Colltex product instructions for the working steps and heat treatment.

Choosing the right version

  • Adhesive system: hotmelt.
  • Tape width: 150 mm.
  • Roll length: 4 m.
  • Use: complete renewal of the adhesive layer.

Before starting, check which adhesive system your skins use and whether the tape width covers them adequately. Match the material and working method to your existing skins.

For your next tour, Colltex recommends a dry ski base when attaching skins. Dry the skins after touring and check their adhesion. This care supports continued use of the renewed adhesive layer.
