Colltex Fellbügel STD

Colltex Fellbügel STD

The Colltex STD skin-clip set contains two standard skin clips, two tip plates and six rivets for self-assembly. These parts form the front attachment of a suitably prepared climbing skin. The set provides the components for fitting clips to both skins of a ski pair when the skin construction and ski-tip shape suit the intended attachment.

Compare the clips with the ski tips

Before assembly, compare the clip shape and tip plates with your ski tips and existing skin construction. Choose according to the Standard system and Colltex's fitting instructions. A suitable mechanical attachment at the tip is part of matching the complete skin to the ski.

Prepare and inspect the assembly

Lay out the supplied parts and inspect their condition. Fit the attachment according to Colltex's instructions using the specified tools. Then check the seating of the clip, tip plate and riveted connections before using the skin on a tour. Inspect the attachment regularly and after transport. A specialist skin retailer can help with questions about fit or assembly.
