Colltex Hexagon Tail-Hook Kit

The Colltex Hexagon Tail-Hook Kit is a set for the tail attachment of compatible climbing skins. It contains two Hexagon tail hooks, two perforated straps and six rivets for self-assembly. The supplied components form the basis for fitting or renewing the intended mechanical attachment at the ski tail.

Choose the set for your skin

Before purchase, compare the Hexagon system with your existing skin construction and the shape of the ski tail. Choose the kit when you need matching perforated straps and rivets as well as the tail hooks. The arrangement and adjustment depend on your ski, skin and Colltex's fitting instructions.

Inspect assembly and adjustment

Lay out all parts and inspect their condition before starting work. Assemble them according to the manufacturer's instructions, using suitable tools for the specified riveted connections. Afterwards, check the straps, the seating of the hooks at the ski tail and the attachment adjustment. Inspect the assembly again before a tour. A specialist skin retailer can help with questions about fit and skin preparation.
