Toko Base Performance Liquid Paraffin red 100ml

TOKO Base Performance Liquid Paraffin Red is a liquid wax for preparing and refreshing ski and snowboard bases. The can contains 100 ml. This medium-hard red version is intended for training, junior racing and ambitious recreational skiing in the medium snow-temperature range. Its liquid form allows application to a prepared base followed by polishing.

Conditions and temperatures

• Contents: 100 ml.
• Snow temperature: −4 to −12°C.
• Air temperature: −2 to −11°C.
• PFC-free version.

The temperature ranges help with choosing a wax for the prevailing snow conditions. Snow and air temperatures are separate specifications. Also consider snow type, moisture and base condition. A suitable temperature range alone does not promise a particular gain in speed.

Apply and polish

Start with a clean, dry base. Apply the liquid wax according to the product instructions and let it dry for the period stated on the can. Then polish the surface with a suitable brush. The TOKO Polishing Brush Liquid Paraffin is intended for this type of wax.

Use the product in an appropriate, well-ventilated working area and follow the label instructions. Keep the can and application surfaces clean. Classic cross-country skis have separate glide and grip zones, so match the application to the ski construction and to the particular preparation step. Check the chosen waxing sequence before starting the work.
