Toko Base Performance Liquid Paraffin blue 100ml

TOKO Base Performance Liquid Paraffin Blue is a liquid wax for preparing ski and snowboard bases. The can contains 100 ml. This hard blue version is intended for cold and aggressive snow conditions, training and ambitious recreational use. The liquid is applied to a prepared base, allowed to dry and then polished.

Version and temperatures

• Contents: 100 ml.
• Snow temperature: −10 to −30°C.
• Air temperature: −9 to −30°C.

This version is PFC-free. Snow and air temperatures are separate specifications. As well as temperature, consider snow type, moisture and base condition when selecting the wax. These temperature ranges are not settings for a waxing iron.

Apply and polish

Clean and dry the base before treatment. Apply the liquid wax as directed and observe the drying period stated on the can. TOKO Polishing Brush Liquid Paraffin is intended for the subsequent brushing and polishing step. Keep application surfaces and the brush clean so that dirt is not transferred into the new wax layer.

Classic cross-country skis have separate glide and grip zones that require different preparation. Use glide wax only on the intended areas. Work in an appropriate, well-ventilated space and follow all guidance on the label. Close the can after use and store it according to the packaging instructions. Match each preparation step to the construction and condition of the particular ski.
