Waxing and finishing the base

Clean the base and let it dry before application. Set your waxing iron according to the processing instructions on the pack. Distribute the wax evenly over the intended gliding surfaces and keep the iron moving while you work.

Let the base cool after waxing. Then remove excess wax with a suitable plexi scraper and brush the surface. On classic cross-country skis, follow the separate care requirements for the glide areas and grip zone. Store the remaining wax block clean and protected.
