Swix T824D Plexi Scraper 4mm

The Swix T824D Plexi Scraper is a 4 mm plexiglass scraper for ski preparation. It removes excess glide wax from the running surface after waxing. It complements the tools kept at a waxing bench and lets you work through the wax-removal stage in a controlled way. This model is intended for use on ski bases.

Use during ski preparation

Follow the processing instructions for the wax you are using when waxing and scraping. Keep the working edge sharp: Swix stresses that a sharp scraper allows easy and effective work on the base surface. A clean edge and controlled movement help you work evenly through each section.

Caring for the working edge

Swix lists T0408, T410 and T412-220 as suitable tools for sharpening the scraper. Remove adhering wax residue and inspect the scraper for damage or worn edges before the next use. Store it with your preparation tools so that it is clean and ready at the next waxing session.
