The Swix Skating Wheel Complete Medium S5-2Pro are replacement wheels for compatible skating roller skis. This version combines a CNC-machined aluminium rim with ball bearings and medium rolling resistance. The listing is for a pair of wheels. They allow worn wheels on a compatible roller ski to be replaced without replacing the entire roller ski.

Selection and use

Before ordering, match the wheel type, fork interface and fittings on your existing roller ski. Check the designation of the wheel already fitted rather than choosing by diameter alone. Have installation assessed by a specialist if you are unsure. After fitting, check free rotation and secure attachment. Medium rolling resistance describes the wheel rather than setting a fixed speed for every route.

Care and inspection

Regularly inspect the wheels, bearings and fasteners and follow Swix’s fitting instructions. Remove dirt after a ride and let the parts dry. Check the wear pattern on both wheels. If there is play, unusual noise or uneven rotation, have the components checked before the next outing.

In-stock items usually ship from our warehouse within 1 to 3 working days. If the item is in stock in one of our stores, you can also pick it up there free of charge. In Pfronten this also works for items that are only in stock in Ronsberg: we bring them over, which usually takes 2 to 4 days.
