Knee-friendly: the new active pedal
Freedom starts at the foot: previous studies have shown that releasing axial rotation by 10° in clip-in pedals has the potential to reduce knee overload injuries – this assumption was investigated as part of a master's thesis and on this basis the 502 active-system pedal for trekking cyclists was developed: the first active pedal on the market for a knee-friendly, ergonomic foot position. The SQlab 502 active pedal is the first city pedal with lateral freedom of movement while maintaining good grip.

Four different axle lengths ensure a physiologically natural foot position on the pedal. This prevents one-sided stress – especially with calf head or fibula head syndrome.

In-stock items usually ship from our warehouse within 1 to 3 working days. If the item is in stock in one of our stores, you can also pick it up there free of charge. In Pfronten this also works for items that are only in stock in Ronsberg: we bring them over, which usually takes 2 to 4 days. The pickup note above and the checkout show where and when you can pick up.
