The DS AX 120 MS with wider fit and Powercage technology was developed for experienced skiers who want a high-performance ski boot with excellent power transfer despite a wider foot.
The Powercage construction enables outstanding ski control and precise response.
The ski boot also offers even easier entry and a fit that reduces fatigue.
If necessary, both the thermoformed Instant Fit inner boot and the shell can be individually adjusted thanks to MyFit technology.
The 3D grip structure along the sole provides traction in snow, more direct power transfer, and boot protection.
The GripWalk option allows you to replace the toe and heel sole to improve walking comfort and grip.

Technologies:

• Myfit: The My Fit boot system allows simple and quick adjustment of both the shell and inner boot. Thanks to the pre-formed anatomical contours in the shell, every My Fit boot performs optimally from the first "try-on." Depending on the inner boot, thermoforming takes no more than 8 minutes and the flex remains unchanged. Thus, the best performance and most comfortable comfort are guaranteed all day!
• Classic overlap design: For all those categories where a high degree of power, precision, and control is required, we built the boots with the traditional overlap construction. The architecture consists of two parts – lower shell and upper cuff – and transfers power directly to the ski and binding. The defined flex and traditional power rebound allow precise control and work perfectly on prepared slopes.
• Power cage: The POWERCAGE construction is Dalbello's revolutionary external support frame for better power transfer and even higher performance.
• Contour 4: The Contour 4 construction is an exclusive Dalbello technology that anatomically and comfortably wraps the foot at four sensitive fit points: heel, ankle, scaphoid, and mid-foot. The precise outline in the lower/inner area of the shell provides precise fit, reducing necessary shell modifications to a minimum.
• IF Liner: IF Liner means Instant Fit inner boot and that's exactly what it is – instant fit from your first step! Additionally, all IF inner boots are heat-adaptable in just 4 minutes in a specific range (40 - 80%, depending on model) for a precise and individual fit with a great memory effect.
• Drive and control: The Drive & Control technology provides more volume in the toe box and a very precise enclosure of the heel area. While the comfortable toe box offers more space for pleasant wearing feel, better circulation, and – as a result – warmer feet and toes, the comprehensive heel area provides more control, direct power transfer, and more sensitivity.
• Adjustable rear cuff spoiler: The rear spoiler of the shaft allows the shell to better adapt to the skier's leg. This way, the rear height of the shaft can be adjusted, which increases rear support and changes forward lean.
• Canting (shaft alignment): The pivot point of shell and shaft allows appropriate ankle bend, smooth forward movement, and a more natural stance in the ski boot. By adjusting the eccentric canting screws, bootfitters / skiers can customize the best setup for each skier.
