Description
CONSTRUCTION
- HEAVY DUTY LIGHT: Lightness and power to cruise down large stretches of untouched snow. This construction uses multi-axis fiberglass, which increases the skis' rideability and power by giving them torsional and bending stiffness. The goal is also to reduce the final weight of these skis in XXL sizes, which is why Paulownia is used in the wooden core for lightness and poplar for strength. This construction makes the skis light, playful, stable at high speeds and durable! These properties have written the legend of the famous SLAPs over the years.
- SEMI CAP: The SEMI CAP sandwich construction enables optimal power transfer across the ski and gives the skier the necessary grip even on the hardest snow types. The durability of the skis is also extended by the ABS edges (increased cold and impact resistance).
ROCKERS & CAMBERS
- ROCKER: Rocker heel "20%" / Rocker tip "25%"
- CAMBERS: Moderate arch
SHAPE
- SHAPE IN 5 POINTS: A special shape that increases the agility of the ski without overly increasing the rocker values (which can lead to vibration). The closer the widest points of the ski are to the center, the shorter and more playful the ski becomes.
- MULTI-RADIAL SHAPE: A method of designing a ski in which the radii vary in several independent areas (front, middle, rear). This allows for a very short radius under the foot (increased agility), while the ends remain forgiving in difficult snow.
-
RADIUS: Medium radius
FLEX
- TORSIONAL STIFFNESS: Increased torsional stiffness for better grip on hard snow!
- STIFFNESS: 3/5
