This season, the new Shine 78 is the ideal option for female all-mountain skiers who prioritise fun on the pistes without compromising on comfort. Fast, agile and eager to turn, it performs best in mixed to firm conditions on moderate slopes and shows maximum versatility. The newly installed multilayer wood core, part of the redesign, ensures lower weight and additional pop. The switch from the foam core of the previous model to a full wood core improves the ski's sportiness, offers more stability at higher speeds and is also a significant step towards greater sustainability. Thanks to the 3D radius sidecut, the Peregrine 78 now impresses with outstanding agility and brings a smile to the faces of those who love short, crisp turns. With the proven Lowride Integrated Binding System, the Peregrine 78 now also offers a wide, light and lower binding that further improves agility in tight turns and, thanks to the TCX heel unit, reduces the effort of stepping in. Identical in construction to its bigger siblings, the Peregrine 80 and 82, the system has been used for the first time on a ski under 80 mm. The direct integration into the wood core also ensures improved power transmission from the binding to the ski.

• Tip & Tail Rocker: Rocker only in the tip and tail areas, pre-tension in the binding area
• 3D Multilayer Woodcore: By combining different types of wood and wood constructions, an ideal balance between weight, strength, durability and damping is achieved. Firmer, heavier wood is used where power transmission, edge grip and torsional stability are required; lighter, softer wood is used in less stressed areas to reduce weight and improve smoothness.
• Steel Band: A steel band in the ski ensures very good durability, controlled flex and smooth skiing at higher speeds.
• 3D Radius Sidecut: Three radii in one ski for maximum carving and speed.
• Full Sidewall ABS: The specific synthetic material of the sidewall enables precise and direct power transmission.
• 3D Glass: Compared with classic glass constructions, the three-dimensional, multi-folded glass layers in the tip and tail area provide improved edge grip and more dynamic rebound behaviour in turns.
• Base P-TEX 2100: Sintered, ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene base with high density, excellent wear resistance and very good gliding properties.
• Zebra Structure: The Zebra structure was developed for the highest precision on the piste and features a deep, high-resolution base pattern tailored specifically to narrower skis fitted with a binding system. This aggressive structure ensures lightning-fast, reliable turn initiation and smooth, controlled drifting for maximum carving performance.
• Serial Finish: Straight from the factory to the piste: with the "Serial Finish", every ski is tuned perfectly for instant performance. This precisely executed surface treatment maximises gliding comfort, ensures more precise turn initiation and makes additional preparation unnecessary.
• Lowride System:Lowride bindings are designed for mounting in conjunction with selected ski models of the Peregrine and Shine series. They are suitable for the following standard ski boot soles:
