Prodigy 0

The Faction Prodigy 0 is a playful all-mountain ski for getting into freeskiing. An 85 mm waist combines with a twin-tip shape that supports switch skiing and your first freestyle moves. The tail is narrower than the tip, retaining a directional feel for exploring different runs across the mountain.

Its Fusion Wood Core places a 600 mm section of light poplar wood beneath the binding area. Foam in the tips and tails reduces swing weight. Sidewall construction underfoot supports edge hold, while the Elliptical Sidecut combines a longer radius beneath your feet with shorter radii towards the ends. This allows varied turn shapes and an intuitive, playful approach to changing direction.

Construction and feel

  • Mustache Flex combines a stable platform underfoot with a progressively softer tip and tail.
  • A sintered base forms the running surface.
  • Sidecut for the offered lengths: 117–85–109 mm.

Which ski length suits me?

The right length depends on the model, intended use, body measurements and ability. For Nordic skis, body weight and suitable flex are especially important.

Check before choosing

  • Compare only lengths supported by the reviewed guidance for this model.
  • Consider your ability and intended use. For touring, also consider whether ascent or descent matters more to you.
  • Check ski, binding and boot compatibility separately.

Frequently asked questions

Advice on choosing skis for your intended terrain.

Get expert advice

  • How do I check what is included and choose bindings?

Check the product description to find out whether bindings are included and which model comes with the offer. Clarify any uncertainties with us before choosing additional bindings.

  • How do I choose length and width?

Match length and waist width to your height, skiing ability and terrain. Float in soft snow, piste performance and manoeuvrability vary by model. We can advise on suitable options for park, freeride or mixed use.

  • Can I use any binding?

No. The ski construction, intended mounting area, binding and boot must work together. If the binding uses a brake, its width must suit the ski. Off-piste use alone does not make a touring binding suitable.
