Atomic Redster S9 FIS J-RP 24/25
Note: no binding
The Atomic Redster S9 FIS J-RP³ is a high-performance slalom ski for young racers who want to develop further in FIS junior races. It combines speed and agility and is specifically tailored to young skiers in geometry and construction. With the third generation of the Junior Race Plate and technology that comes from the World Cup, the next generation gets a ski that handles gates precisely and powerfully.
The narrow waist width of 65 mm allows very tight, precise turns. The Junior SL tip reduces the risk of getting caught in the gates, and the pronounced V-shape of the geometry supports control. The Dura-Cap sidewall and the Ultra Power Woodcore provide high torsional stiffness and good edge grip, even on hard or icy surfaces.
Technologies
- Ultra TI Powered: World Cup-tested laminate across the entire ski width, double-bonded, for more stability, torsional stiffness and edge grip
- Junior Race Plate (3rd generation): for speed and control
- Dura-Cap sidewall: direct power transfer to the edge
- Ultra Power Woodcore: wood core for stability and smooth running
- Junior SL tip: reduces the risk of getting caught in the gates
- V-Shape geometry: specifically tailored to young skiers

Size help
Which ski length suits me?
The right length depends on the model, intended use, body measurements and ability. For Nordic skis, body weight and suitable flex are especially important.
Use a child’s current height, weight and ability. Do not add length just to allow room to grow.
A reviewed size recommendation is not yet available for this model. Use the measuring guide to prepare, then ask our team for help choosing.
Check before choosing
- Compare only lengths supported by the reviewed guidance for this model.
- Consider your ability and intended use. For touring, also consider whether ascent or descent matters more to you.
- Check ski, binding and boot compatibility separately.
Measure your height and weight
- Stand against a wall without shoes, looking straight ahead.
- Ask someone to measure from the floor to the top of your head in centimetres.
- Check your current weight. For Nordic skis, use the weight range and flex for the exact model.
