Swiss made
Since 1935, Stöckli has stood for Swiss ski making. The same rigour shapes the factory in Malters and the road to the big race courses.
In Malters, every Stöckli ski is built in more than 140 work steps. Craftsmanship and modern manufacturing mesh precisely.
Stöckli's journey in the Swiss-Ski Pool began in 1994. In 1996, Urs Kälin took the first World Cup win. Racing experience still flows into development today.
The Stöckli Laser WRT Pro is the top model of the Laser race series in elegant silver-black, an uncompromising race carver with Carbon Power Turn for explosive acceleration and the highest precision on the piste.
The Laser WRT Pro MO builds on the Laser WRT and, with additional reinforcement, lifts it once more to World Cup level: Titanal Technology Pro and the Carbon Power Turn strips in the binding area deliver significantly more energy return and explosive acceleration out of the end of the turn. The extended edge contact area (FEC) and the solid SME edge provide early, unshakeable grip, while the Titec Pro topsheet keeps the ski durable even in hard race use. A ski that combines precision, power and race technology without compromise, just as World Cup athletes in the Stöckli race team use it. This is the special Marco Odermatt edition in outstanding design.
| Waist width | 67 mm |
|---|---|
| Sidecut | 119 – 67 – 101 mm |
| Lengths | 158 / 166 / 172 / 178 cm |
| Radius | approx. 12.3–16.0 m, depending on length |
| Rocker | Full-camber-dominated design, minimal rocker, typical for racing |
| Core | Sandwich construction, Race Core (poplar/beech) with Titanal Technology Pro |
| Edge | SME with Full Edge Contact (FEC) |
| Base | Race Base, base with a particularly high graphite content |
| Surface | Titec Pro, Titanal topsheet with protective coating |
| Sidewalls | RSB, Racing Sidewalls Black |
| Carbon technology | CPT, Carbon Power Turn in the binding area |
| SME | Solid Metal Edge: a wider, solid steel edge than on conventional skis provides high stability, precise edge grip and long durability even with frequent race use. |
|---|---|
| FEC | Full Edge Contact: an extended edge contact area provides early grip when initiating turns and pulls the ski cleanly and in control through the turn. |
| Titanal Technology Pro | Further developed Titanal composite compared with the Laser WRT, delivering additional stability and power transmission at very high speed. |
| CPT | Carbon Power Turn: carbon strips in the binding area deliver additional energy and provide explosive acceleration out of the end of the turn. |
| Titec Pro | An additional, lightly textured protective coating on the Titanal topsheet makes the surface more resistant to scratches and wear in hard race use. |
| RSB | Racing Sidewalls Black: black race sidewalls made of phenolic resin with carbon content for direct, lag-free power transmission from the binding to the edge. |
| Race Base | Base with a particularly high graphite content for maximum gliding pleasure in all snow conditions, even in cool temperatures and fine, hard snow. |
The Laser WRT Pro is the most consistent ski in the Laser series: the same geometry as the Laser WRT (119 – 67 – 101 mm, radii of approx. 12.3 to 16.0 m), but tuned for even more stability, power transmission and gliding performance with Titanal Technology Pro, Titec Pro topsheet and Race Base. The result is a ski with a strikingly calm, composed run at high speed and a very direct, immediate response to pressure and edge angle, typical of a pure racing machine. If you do not actively challenge the ski with speed and pressure, you will hardly feel its potential; if you do, you get precision and smooth running at a level otherwise reserved for genuine race skis.
The Laser WRT Pro is aimed at very good to excellent skiers and (former) racers who are looking for an uncompromising race carver for hard, well-groomed surfaces up to ice. It demands strength, technique and an active riding style. It is not suitable as a relaxed all-day ski or for riders at a moderate pace, where a model such as the Laser WRT or Laser CX is the better choice. The WRT Pro is not designed for deep snow, mogul runs or changeable conditions; its strength is the groomed race piste.
Binding & length: The Laser WRT Pro is available from us with a matching Stöckli race binding plate (e.g. WRT D20) and race binding. If you have questions about the right length or binding setting for your riding style, just get in touch with us, we are happy to advise you, especially with such a demanding race ski.
