Swiss made
Since 1935, Stöckli has stood for Swiss ski making. The same rigour shapes the factory in Malters and the road to the big race courses.
In Malters, every Stöckli ski is built in more than 140 work steps. Craftsmanship and modern manufacturing mesh precisely.
Stöckli's journey in the Swiss-Ski Pool began in 1994. In 1996, Urs Kälin took the first World Cup win. Racing experience still flows into development today.
The Stöckli Laser SX is the sporty all-rounder of the Laser series: a completely new construction with a slightly wider, more waisted geometry for a particularly broad range of use on the piste.
For 2026/27 the Laser SX has been completely redesigned: its geometry, around 4 mm wider and more strongly waisted than the pure race models of the series, makes it a true all-rounder that handles sporty speed on groomed pistes as confidently as relaxed cruising. The adaptive edge contact in the tip area (ACL) ensures that the ski progressively builds up contact length when tilted onto its edge, which makes it approachable yet precise, while the extended tail rocker makes it easier to finish turns.
| Waist width | 70 mm |
|---|---|
| Sidecut | 119 - 70 - 99 mm |
| Lengths | 158 / 165 / 172 / 178 cm |
| Radius | approx. 13-16 m, depending on length |
| Rocker | ACL tip with progressive edge contact, tail rocker |
| Core | Sandwich construction (Sandwich System), according to specialist retailers with poplar and beech wood, among others |
| Edge | SME - Solid Metal Edge, wider than conventional edges |
| Base | Racing Graphite |
| Surface | Turtle Grip, textured polyamide topsheet |
| Torsion control | Turtle Shell, targeted Titanal cut-outs |
| ACL | Adaptive Contact Length: the tip progressively builds up edge contact as you edge, instead of gripping at full length immediately. This makes the ski approachable when initiating turns and still precise. |
|---|---|
| Tail Rocker (TR) | An extended, flatter rocker in the ski tail makes it easier to finish turns and takes pressure off the edge towards the end of the turn. |
| SME (Solid Metal Edge) | A wider metal edge than on conventional skis: it increases stability and service life and allows more sharpening cycles during servicing. |
| Turtle Grip (TGR) | Textured polyamide surface on the topsheet that provides extra grip when carrying and handling the ski. |
| Turtle Shell (TS) | Targeted cut-outs in the Titanal layer that keep the ski torsion-neutral: they provide smooth skiing at low speed and even edge grip at higher speed. |
The Laser SX combines a solid sandwich core construction with a wide metal edge (SME), which gives noticeably smooth running and edge grip without feeling sluggish. The 70 mm waist, wider than on the race models, and the new, more strongly waisted geometry allow medium to long turn radii at high speed, while ACL and tail rocker keep the ski approachable even at a calmer pace. The Turtle Shell technology also ensures that the ski twists smoothly at slow speed yet still sits precisely on the edge at higher speed. Overall, a ski that brings a great deal of the Laser series' racing know-how, yet can be skied far more versatilely than the thoroughbred race and FIS models.
The Laser SX is aimed at sporty, skilled to advanced piste skiers looking for a versatile carver for medium to long turn radii, both for sporty skiing at higher speed and for relaxed cruising on quieter days. Thanks to the wider, waisted geometry, it forgives small mistakes more readily than the narrower race skis of the series, while remaining precise enough for dynamic turns on groomed pistes. The ski prefers well-kept pistes and is not designed for deep snow.
