Swiss made
Since 1935, Stöckli has stood for Swiss ski making. The same rigour shapes the factory in Malters and the road to the big race courses.
In Malters, every Stöckli ski is built in more than 140 work steps. Craftsmanship and modern manufacturing mesh precisely.
Stöckli's journey in the Swiss-Ski Pool began in 1994. In 1996, Urs Kälin took the first World Cup win. Racing experience still flows into development today.
The Stöckli Laser CX is the light, uncomplicated entry into Stöckli's Laser race series, a slalom carver that offers sporty turning pleasure without demanding much strength.
The Laser CX combines sportiness with a noticeably light build and is designed as a versatile slalom ski with which you have plenty of riding fun with little effort. Thanks to the adaptive edge contact in the tip area (ACL), the ski progressively builds up contact length as you edge, which makes it approachable yet still precise on the edge. The extended tail rocker additionally makes it easy to finish turns and takes pressure out of the end of the turn.
| Waist width | 69 mm |
|---|---|
| Sidecut | 122 – 69 – 101 mm |
| Lengths | 150 / 156 / 162 / 168 / 174 cm |
| Radius | approx. 10–15 m, depending on length |
| Rocker | ACL tip with progressive edge contact, tail rocker |
| Core | Sandwich construction made of lightweight European woods (Light Core) |
| Edge | SME Light, lightweight metal edge |
| Base | Racing Graphite |
| Surface | Turtle Grip, textured polyamide topsheet |
| Torsion control | Turtle Shell, targeted Titanal cut-outs |
| ACL | Adaptive Contact Length: the tip progressively builds up edge contact as you edge, instead of gripping at full length immediately. This makes the ski approachable when initiating turns and still precise. |
|---|---|
| Tail Rocker (TR) | An extended, flatter rocker in the ski tail makes it easier to finish turns and takes pressure off the edge towards the end of the turn. |
| Light Core (LC) | Light sandwich core made of selected European wood species, reducing turn weight without sacrificing stability. |
| SME Light | Slim, weight-optimised metal edge that provides edge grip while keeping the overall weight of the ski low. |
| Turtle Grip (TGR) | Textured polyamide surface on the topsheet that provides extra grip when carrying and handling the ski. |
| Turtle Shell (TS) | Targeted cut-outs in the Titanal layer that keep the ski torsion-neutral. They prevent it from twisting unevenly when edging and so ensure even edge grip along the entire length. |
The Laser CX relies on a light sandwich core construction made of European woods, combined with a slim metal edge (SME Light), which keeps the turn weight low without giving up smooth running and edge grip. The narrow 69 mm waist and the tight radius make short, dynamic turns easy to approach, while the Turtle Grip surface and the Racing Graphite base provide extra gliding comfort on the piste. Overall, a ski that brings a lot of the Laser series' racing know-how, yet is noticeably more relaxed to ride than the sportier SL and WRT models.
