Extrem Icon 90: the frontside ski for every condition
The Icon 90 was built to master the piste, whether on hard ground or spring corn snow. It combines agility with stability and feels just as comfortable on groomed slopes as in the mogul field or in changing snow. The poplar core and a continuous titanal layer provide a lively, powerful and yet calm ride feel.
With a waist width of 90 mm and a radius of 14 to 16 metres (depending on length), it swings cleanly on the edge and stays stable even at higher speed. The rocker in tip and tail makes it versatile and makes turn initiation easier. It weighs only 1,450 to 1,750 grams per ski.

Handmade in Åre, Sweden
Extrem has been building its skis by hand in Åre since 1981. Production runs on 100 % renewable hydropower, and the CO₂ footprint is 28.8 kg per pair (including material, manufacturing, transport and disposal). The ABS plastic is made of 70 % recycled material, the topsheet of 50 % and the steel edges of 20 %.
Construction
- Core: Vertically laminated poplar core of medium density, lively and stable
- Reinforcement: Continuous titanal layer (0.4 mm) for edge grip and stability at speed, plus prepreg fibreglass for a good strength-to-weight ratio
- Cushioning: 1.5 mm racing rubber in tip and tail (from Haberkorn) plus a 0.2 mm rubber film between steel edge and core
- Binding plate: CNC-milled beech plate (55 x 650 mm)
- Edges: Extra-wide ABS sidewall (8.5 mm) with bevelled profile and continuous steel edge (2.3 mm high, 2.2 mm wide)
- Base: Isospeed 7515 race base (extremely dense polyethylene with graphite) with arrow-shaped structure grind for good glide on cold snow
- Topsheet: 0.55 mm Isocap ICP 8210 with textured surface and tail protection against delamination
Who is it for?
For sporty women skiers who are at home on the piste and in the terrain beyond it and want a ski that is agile, stable and versatile at the same time. In the Freeride.se test, the Icon 90 received 4.3 out of 5 points and was described as a really lovely piste ski for advanced and intermediate women skiers.

In-stock items usually ship from our warehouse within 1 to 3 working days. If the item is in stock in one of our stores, you can also pick it up there free of charge. In Pfronten this also works for items that are only in stock in Ronsberg: we bring them over, which usually takes 2 to 4 days. Warranty & returns
Statutory warranty rights apply, plus the manufacturer's guarantee where one is granted. You can return unused items within 14 days of receipt; register the return in your customer account.
