Hero GS Pro SPX11 822
The new Rossignol Hero Athlete GS Pro is a competition-level GS racing ski, developed specifically for junior racers in the U8 to U16 categories.
This ski has been modernised in size, construction and flexibility to optimally meet the demands of future champions.
Every aspect of flex and balance has been individually adjusted by size to adapt optimally to growing junior athletes.
The proven Line Control Technology (LCT) and the race-ready construction guarantee the highest level of precision, balance and power.
LCT eliminates counter-flex, ensuring maximum track control.
The adapted flex and the sizes designed specifically for juniors help young athletes unlock their full potential and reach the next competition level.
The Rossignol Hero GS Pro features a full camber profile and a robust poplar wood core, reinforced with Titanal and fibreglass.
The oversized sidecut dimensions and the sintered HD base provide excellent ride characteristics.
The Rectangular Full Sidewall construction and Cascade Tip technology round off this ski, which is ready to give young racers the decisive advantage on the course.
Cascade Tip
Staggered metal and fibreglass laminates through the ski tip form this unique shovel and reduce inertia and tip weight for a livelier, freer ski.
This construction enables maximum control of tip torsion for stable turn initiation and incredibly precise turn guidance.
Poplar wood core
The robust poplar wood core provides a balanced ratio of weight, flex and stability for a versatile blend of performance.
Titanal Beam
Titanal Beam improves power transmission in the foot area for improved edge grip, rebound and energy distribution over the entire length of the ski.
Fiberglass
Fiberglass offers more elasticity than carbon and exists in various weight classes and weave structures, making it the best choice for tailored flex and torsional strength.
Rectangular Full Sidewall
The Rectangular Full Sidewall construction features a horizontal layer of core material (wood, fibreglass, metal, etc.) combined with continuous vertical sidewalls for optimised edge grip, precision, balance and performance.
Oversized Sidecut
The oversize sidecut combines the strongly waisted sidecut of a carving ski with the current ski width. The wide ski ends provide efficient edge grip, power transmission and precision.
The greater width under the binding increases control and hold in the turns. Oversize sidecuts enable greater agility, power and control.
Mini Cap
The Minicap construction features a small bevel around the entire topsheet for increased durability.
Sintered HD Base
The sintered HD base offers great glide in all ski conditions.

Size help
Which ski length suits me?
The right length depends on the model, intended use, body measurements and ability. For Nordic skis, body weight and suitable flex are especially important.
Use a child’s current height, weight and ability. Do not add length just to allow room to grow.
A reviewed size recommendation is not yet available for this model. Use the measuring guide to prepare, then ask our team for help choosing.
Check before choosing
- Compare only lengths supported by the reviewed guidance for this model.
- Consider your ability and intended use. For touring, also consider whether ascent or descent matters more to you.
- Check ski, binding and boot compatibility separately.
Measure your height and weight
- Stand against a wall without shoes, looking straight ahead.
- Ask someone to measure from the floor to the top of your head in centimetres.
- Check your current weight. For Nordic skis, use the weight range and flex for the exact model.
