Faction Dancer 79 Ti SYS 2026/27

Faction Dancer 79 Ti SYS 2026/27

The Dancer 79 TI is aimed at skiers who want the highest precision and dynamics on the piste. With minimal rocker, parabolic shape and double titanal reinforcement, it offers impressive stability at speed and strong edge grip. It feels particularly at home on freshly groomed runs and gives every turn energy. Despite its performance orientation, it retains a certain playfulness, making it a lively companion on and off the piste.

SHAPE & CONSTRUCTION

Layer build of the Faction Dancer 79 Ti, 89 Ti and 99 Ti: 1 topsheet, 2 titanal, 3 wood core, 2 titanal, 4 base

1 - Topsheet

2 - Double titanal laminate

Titanal is one of the most robust metals there is. Thanks to its properties, the ski loves to ride on the edge, sweeps over bumps and stays stable even in changing snow conditions.

3 - Poplar core

Poplar is a light, medium-weight, durable softwood with good flex and pop and excellent vibration damping. Because only a single wood is used here, the ski feels very predictable and stable. Embedded between two layers of fibreglass for strength, stiffness and longevity.

4 - Base

Faction Dancer 79 Ti shape: 1 elliptical sidecut, 2 soft nose, stiff centre, soft tail, 3 nose rocker, high camber, tail rocker

1 - Elliptical Sidecut

Elliptical sidecut, longer radius underfoot for long, stable arcs and shorter radius in tip and tail for incredible versatility and effortless turn initiation

2 - Mustache Flex

The "Mustache Flex" offers stability underfoot for solid edge hold, with a soft, progressive flex in the tips and tails to easily absorb all the different bumps and leftover snow that the mountain brings

3 - Progressive Flat-Tail

Innovative design that combines the turn stability and speed of a traditional flat-tail shape with a generous amount of perfectly calculated tail rocker to reward turns and slashes. Stable at high speeds, playful and easy to ski at lower speeds - this shape exceeds expectations

Frequently asked questions

Advice on choosing skis for your intended terrain.

  • How do I check what is included and choose bindings?

Check the product description to find out whether bindings are included and which model comes with the offer. Clarify any uncertainties with us before choosing additional bindings.

  • How do I choose length and width?

Match length and waist width to your height, skiing ability and terrain. Float in soft snow, piste performance and manoeuvrability vary by model. We can advise on suitable options for park, freeride or mixed use.

  • Can I use any binding?

No. The ski construction, intended mounting area, binding and boot must work together. If the binding uses a brake, its width must suit the ski. Off-piste use alone does not make a touring binding suitable.
