Völkl Blaze 94 Women 2022 2023

Blaze 94 W

New freeride era - state of the art in technology for the ultimate ride in four lengths with 94 mm waist width each.

The Blaze 94 W is what we like to call a very athletic freerider or all-rounder.
It delivers full performance in very different terrain and can turn almost on the spot.
A 0.3 mm thick titanium layer under the binding provides impressively direct power transmission and directs the rider's movement directly into the turn.
At the same time, the low titanium content and light weight mean that the Blaze 94 W is incredibly responsive and easy to move with little effort.

Despite being designed for tight turn radii, the 3D Radius sidecut and Hybrid Multilayer Woodcore allow all radii.
At just 1427 g (at 165 cm length) and with Suspension Tip and Tail (a rubber-like damper that absorbs what comes into contact with the ski), it's also a fantastic touring ski.
Whether on the slopes, off-piste or in the backcountry, the Blaze 94 W has an incredibly wide range of applications in all conditions.

Titanal Binding Platform

A 0.3 mm thin titanium sheet provides the necessary rigidity in the binding area. This ensures that the binding screws show proven reliability of a metal ski even in the harshest use.

Suspension Tips & Tails

Inserts of elastic, rubber-like material on the edges of the tip and tail. In wind-blown or tracked snow, they act like a shock absorber. Through their damping elasticity, they provide better disturbance resistance and supportive float.

Hybrid Multilayer Woodcore

The extra-light Hybrid Multilayer woodcore is a very complex core used in the Blaze. Light and very stable poplar and beech woods that have already been individually weighed and sorted by weight before lamination are built into this wood core. In the tip-to-tail construction, the wood extends into the tip of the shovel and tail, giving them the challenging combination of good stability and low weight. At the center of the core, a CNC-milled Isocore section contributes to optimal liveliness and dynamic performance. In sum, this design achieves ski stability that meets the high demands of a freeride ski at a weight that is only slightly above that of a touring ski.
