The Blaze series opens up a unique dimension, especially for intuitive freeriders who prefer a sporty ride but value playful lightness. The Blaze 94 is designed for an enormously wide range of uses and can be skied superbly in almost all conditions. The 0.3 mm thick Titanal layer on the binding platform ensures an impressively direct transfer of power from the skier's movement to the action of the ski. Because the Titanal is only under the foot, the result is an incredibly fun and responsive turning experience, immediately after initiating the turn and with little effort. Although it is designed for short turn radii, the 4 Radius Drive Sidecut and the Hybrid Multilayer Woodcore / Green Core considerably improve the ski's liveliness and manoeuvrability in every turn shape. With very low weight and the addition of Suspension Tip and Tail (basically a rubber-like "buffer" for everything the ski comes into contact with), it is also a fantastic touring ski. Whether you are in the ski area, off-piste or in the backcountry, the Blaze 94 offers an incredibly wide range of use in all conditions.

• Tip & Tail Rocker: Rocker only in the tip and tail areas, pre-tension in the binding area
• Green Core: All GreenCore woods are FSC-certified / environmentally friendly glue / The lightweight foam in the middle section is made from recycled PET bottles.
• Suspension Tips & Tails: Inserts made of elastic, rubber-like material at the edges of the tip and tail. In wind-blown or tracked-out snow, they act like bumpers. Thanks to their damping elasticity, they provide better resistance to disturbances and supportive float.
• Titanal Binding Platform: a 0.3 mm thin Titanal sheet provides the necessary strength in the binding area. The binding screws therefore show the proven reliability of a metal ski even in the toughest use.
• 4 Radius Drive: A Völkl innovation that no other manufacturer offers so far. With this technology, Völkl sets new standards in the variability of the turn radius and in combining easy handling with rock-solid stability. This new design offers maximum versatility for different snow conditions both on and off the piste, increased stability on hard snow and improved performance on soft snow.
• Full Sidewall ABS: The specific synthetic material of the sidewall enables precise and direct power transmission.
• 3 D.Glass: Compared with classic glass constructions, the three-dimensional, multiply folded glass layers in the tip and tail areas provide improved edge grip and a more dynamic rebound in turns.
• Base P-TEX 2100: Sintered, ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene base with high density, excellent wear resistance and very good gliding properties.
• Brushed: A flat and narrower structure suits wide skis and their larger contact surface. Designed for optimal manoeuvrability with less catching and lighter, smoother turning characteristics.
