The Blaze 86 builds on what the other models are known for: lightness, versatility and agility. By dispensing with Titanal, the ski is a little livelier and also slightly lighter. The Blaze 86 is designed for quick, tight turns, but the three different sidecut radii also handle demanding terrain, speed and long, drawn-out turns. Sprung tips and tails give the ski calm, increase flotation and protect the ski off-piste. The Blaze 86 is a great ski touring option for backcountry skiers who are happy to accept 100 g of extra weight in return for a significantly better skiing experience. The light, powerful tip-to-tail solid wood core makes ascents and descents a pleasure (except when the snow is too deep). An extremely versatile technology setup that gives the Blaze 86 an intuitive feel and an unusual degree of creativity.

Multilayer Woodcore Light 1: The Multilayer Woodcore Light consists of a laminated wood core with a hardwood portion in the screw area and extra-light wood in the outer area. In the alpine segment, the models benefit in particular from the weight reduction, which allows quick, sporty turns.
Suspension Tips & Tails: Inserts made of elastic, rubber-like material at the edges of the tip and tail. In wind-blown or tracked snow, they act like a bumper. Thanks to their damping elasticity, they provide better resistance to disturbance and supportive flotation.
3D Radius Sidecut: Three radii in one ski for maximum agility and speed.
Full Sidewall ABS: The specific synthetic material of the sidewall enables precise and direct power transmission.
Base P-TEX 2100: Sintered, ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene base with high density, excellent wear resistance and very good gliding properties.
Brushed: A flat and narrower structure suits wide skis and their larger contact surface. Designed for optimal manoeuvrability with less catching and lighter, smoother turning characteristics.

In-stock items usually ship from our warehouse within 1 to 3 working days. If the item is in stock in one of our stores, you can also pick it up there free of charge. In Pfronten this also works for items that are only in stock in Ronsberg: we bring them over, which usually takes 2 to 4 days.
