Atomic Backland 102 2024 2025
Goes with it
Description
The Atomic Backland 102 for freeriding ski tourers proves super reliable both on the way up and on the way down.
This touring ski, like the wider Backland 109, is equipped with the FreeTour Profile for powerful descents.
Its ultra-light wood core made of poplar and karubawood stands for lightweight and top stability.
And the light, three-dimensional HRZN 3D shovel offers more contact surface and thus better float in powder.
The powder rocker combines pronounced lift at both shovel and ski end with a forward bias under the binding – for effortless steering and playful performance in powder, choppy snow, or crud.
Plus, more raw materials with less CO2 emissions are used – more wood, less fiberglass, metal, and resin.
This reduced CO2-equivalent emissions by 26% (compared to the Backland 100 from 2022).
The Backland 102 with the perfect mix of flow and performance was developed with Austrian backcountry legend Matthias Haunholder.
