As the name says, Nepal Cube is a new starting point.
A new standard for technical mountain boots thanks to their exceptional lightness (only 950 grams per boot) and high thermal performance. The low weight is made possible by minimising the weight of the sole/midsole package, which features a highly insulating honeycomb insole in Carbon Tech.
Overall comfort is guaranteed by the use of the GORE-TEX Insulated Comfort membrane, which ensures breathability and water resistance, and by the EZ OUT technology of the tongue, with its improved fit adjustment and better removal of sweat through the mesh fabric.
Walking is supported by the three-directional 3D Flex System at the ankle.
This gives the ankle support on any terrain.
The Vibram sole with Impact Brake System absorbs shocks, helps on the ascent and increases the braking effect on the descent thanks to the differentiated size of the lugs: Nepal Cube: the origin of a new species.

Lighter steel eyelets to further reduce the overall weight.
Multidirectional ankle joint system 3D Flex System, which makes walking easier and supports the ankle on any terrain.
All-around rubber protective rand, robust and resistant to impacts and abrasion.
Removable EZ Out tongue for a more adjustable fit, helps remove sweat through the use of a mesh fabric.

Designed and developed in La Sportiva's research and development centre, it offers real benefits while running: the negative effect that occurs on impact with the ground is minimised.
Thanks to the special arrangement of the lugs, some make contact with the ground first, so the impact of the shoe's tread is softer.
