Hanwag Makra Trek SF Extra GTX Men navy asphalt

Spacious StraightFit Extra model - for hikers with a wide forefoot.
Its adapted outsole with a wide tread surface provides stability and steadiness, making the Makra Trek SF Extra GTX ideal for longer hikes and multi-day tours with heavy luggage.
The Makra Trek SF Extra GTX is the right shoe for longer hikes and multi-day tours with heavy luggage.
The special feature of this model is the HANWAG StraightFit Extra last.
In this last, the wide toe box of the StraightFit last, which keeps the big toe straight, is combined with the additional room in the forefoot and ball area of our Wide last variant.
This gives the right fit above all to people with a wide forefoot - and who want room for the big toe.
Despite the spacious forefoot area, the midfoot sits well in the shoe, which guarantees perfect hold even in difficult terrain.
The optimised Ghilly lacing, which extends into the toe area and in which the laces are pulled through fabric loops, also contributes to this.
"HANWAG 2 Zone Lock" guarantees improved heel hold: unlike a conventional locking hook, the mechanical clamp blocks reliably and, once fixed, cannot slip again without manual intervention.
Thanks to the so-called "Makra-Fit", the Makra Trek SF Extra GTX literally hugs the foot, resulting in excellent power transmission.
Shoe and foot thus form a unit, from the toes to the heel.
The adapted, excellently cushioning PU midsole is perfectly matched to the StraightFit Extra last.
In addition, the Vibram Trekking SF outsole with its wide tread surface provides good stability and steadiness.
Thanks to the waterproof GORE-TEX membrane, feet stay dry even in wet conditions; the Perwanger leather used is robust, breathable and durable.
