Hanwag- Klarsby Bunion GTX - black/frost- Herren

Mid-high, lightweight hiking boot – optimized for men with hallux valgus. As a fit specialist, HANWAG offers with the Klarsby Bunion GTX a shoe for one of the most common forefoot malpositions, the inward turn of the big toe. The waterproof hiking boot made of leather was specially designed as a bunion model and convinces with numerous specific details. The bunion last offers more space for the metatarsal phalangeal joint and for the toes in general. With a hallux valgus, the inward-pointing big toe often also shifts the other toes - so that they get more space overall, the toe box is raised and slightly wider. Adapted to the last is the HANWAG Endurance Hike Bunion sole: it provides stability through a wide surface and an excellent shock-absorbing PU midsole. For relief of the metatarsal phalangeal joint, an increased bending stiffness in the forefoot reduces the range of motion of the MTP joint during the rolling motion and thus avoids unnecessary pain. Furthermore, the entire forefoot area including TPU rockfall protection is free of seams that could press on or rub the sensitive metatarsal phalangeal joint. The adaptive ghilly lacing provides comfortable support: during the rolling motion, the flexible textile straps adapt to the movement and allow a more natural foot movement. This can lead to more comfort when walking for people with hallux valgus. To increase comfort in the area of the metatarsal phalangeal joint and avoid pressure spots, additional padding material is incorporated between the leather and inner lining.
