Salewa Puez 2.5L PTX Jacket M electric

To ensure optimal protection in harsh conditions, we developed and thoroughly tested our Puez Aqua Jacket between the rugged mountain peaks of the Dolomites. The 2.5-layer ripstop fabric with Powertex® membrane consists of 57 percent recycled materials and is the ideal companion in adverse weather conditions. With a water column of 10,000 millimeters, the material is reliably waterproof: the water column describes the pressure needed for water to penetrate the fabric. Nevertheless, the jacket remains extremely breathable at 10,000 g/m²/24h: this means that within 24 hours, 10 liters of water vapor per square meter can evaporate – so the jacket promises comfortable wearing even during strenuous activities.

The design and features of the jacket are designed for full functionality for alpine hiking and trekking tours: the fully sealed seams, the waterproof zips and the durable water-repellent DWR coating reliably protect in front as well as at the pockets from moisture and rain. At 310 grams, the Puez Aqua is lightweight – and weighs just about as much as two apples when packed in your backpack. 

The Puez Aqua was made from recycled materials and finished with a PFC-free, durable water-repellent DWR finish and is part of the SALEWA® Committed collection, where products are made according to independently verified environmental and social standards.
