Salewa Ortles Tirolwool® Responsive Stretch Kapuzenjacke

The Ortles Tirol Wool Responsive stretch hooded jacket provides lightweight all-weather insulation for aerobic use in alpine terrain. The jacket works great as a standalone outer layer but is also a versatile mid-layer under a classic shell jacket.

Perfect for the mountains
The combination of 4-way stretch nylon outer fabric and elastic quilting makes this hybrid jacket an ideal companion for all mountain activities. The three-dimensional structure of the nonwoven fabric of the outer layer gives the jacket excellent air permeability, elasticity and durability, as well as optimal moisture transport.

Natural and intelligent insulation
The TirolWool® Responsive Stretch filling efficiently disperses excess heat during intense physical activity and keeps the body warm during rest – even when wet. TirolWool® is made from wool of high-alpine Tyrolean mountain sheep and was developed together with the Tyrolean Mountain Rescue Service. Responsive technology recycles the body's natural infrared energy, gradually releases it, and thereby provides more comfort, better performance, and faster recovery.

Storm protection
The adjustable, insulated hood and high front collar provide additional storm protection. The front zipper has a continuous internal windproof baffle. The jacket also has two exterior pockets and a chest pocket with zipper.

With its extremely comfortable stretch fit, this jacket is an ideal hybrid layer with all-weather insulation for aerobic alpine use.

In-stock items usually ship from our warehouse within 1 to 3 working days. If the item is in stock in one of our stores, you can also pick it up there free of charge. In Pfronten this also works for items that are only in stock in Ronsberg: we bring them over, which usually takes 2 to 4 days.
