Salewa HMS Screw G2 blue

The Salewa HMS Screw G2 in Blue is a classic HMS carabiner with a screwgate for climbing and mountaineering equipment. Its rounded shape provides room for the intended rope handling, while the screw sleeve locks the gate manually. This aluminium 7075 T6 version is offered in two sizes, allowing you to choose according to your intended system and handling preference.

Selection and use

Choose the size according to the intended application and your equipment’s approvals. Check the markings and strength values on the chosen carabiner together with its instructions. Safe use depends on suitable, mutually compatible components and knowledge of the relevant belaying technique. Ask a qualified specialist to explain handling if needed.

Care and inspection

Inspect the body, gate and locking sleeve before use as instructed by Salewa. The gate must close completely and the locking mechanism must work correctly. Clean and store the carabiner according to its instructions. Damage, unusual operation or an uncertain loading history calls for expert assessment before further use.

In-stock items usually ship from our warehouse within 1 to 3 working days. If the item is in stock in one of our stores, you can also pick it up there free of charge. In Pfronten this also works for items that are only in stock in Ronsberg: we bring them over, which usually takes 2 to 4 days. The pickup note above and the checkout show where and when you can pick up.
