Between Bolzano, Brixen and Brenta, winter in the Dolomites offers an extensive network of trails for anyone who wants to venture into unspoilt nature.

The Alp Mate Winter Mid shoe was developed for mountain lovers looking for a reliable, mid-height hiking or snowshoe shoe for the colder months of the year. Its upper made of thick suede and robust stretch fabric is fitted with a waterproof, breathable membrane that repels snow, slush and rain and keeps you pleasantly dry at all times. A wide rubber rand gives you additional 360° all-round protection.

This shoe is designed for winter use and features the proprietary SALEWA® 3F System with robust Kevlar cords for flexibility, heel hold and a stable, protective fit. Inside, the warm Alpine Wool lining offers improved thermal insulation, especially in colder conditions, while the built-in, durable EVA midsole ensures a soft landing and excellent shock absorption on harder ground.

The Pomoca™ Winter Hike outsole has a tread designed for stability, grip and traction on rock, mud and above all on snow and ice, while the biomechanical S-Path technology supports natural movement on and off the trail.

This shoe is a Salewa Committed product with a PFC-free, durable water-repellent (DWR) coating, made to strict, independently tested standards for social responsibility and fair working conditions.

Shipping & advice

In-stock items usually ship from our warehouse within 1 to 3 working days. If the item is in stock in one of our stores, you can also pick it up there free of charge. In Pfronten this also works for items that are only in stock in Ronsberg: we bring them over, which usually takes 2 to 4 days. The pickup note above and the checkout show where and when you can pick up. Skis with binding mounting take a little longer: we mount them carefully and let you know as soon as your set is on its way. Personal advice is available by appointment in our store in Ronsberg. Warranty & returns
