Rise 34+

The Deuter Rise 34+ is a touring backpack for snowshoeing and ski touring. Its 34-litre volume can be expanded by eight litres. A height-adjustable lid leaves room to adapt your packing when you need extra clothing or food for the day.

The Alpine back system keeps the load close to your body, with ventilation channels between the back pads. A flexible Delrin U-frame supports the carrying system. Load-adjustment straps and a continuously adjustable sternum strap help you fine-tune the fit. Two zipped pockets on the hip fins keep small items within reach on the move.

Access and organisation in the snow

• Two front compression straps provide attachment points for snowshoes.
• The rear zip opens the pack from the back, giving access to its contents while your snowshoes remain attached at the front.
• A separate, reinforced safety compartment keeps the shovel blade, shovel shaft and probe apart from the rest of your gear.
• A stretch inner compartment accommodates wet clothing, and the pack has provision for a hydration bladder of up to three litres.

Care after your tour

Wipe off light dirt with a damp cloth. Open the pack and let it dry completely in a well-ventilated place, away from direct sunlight and heaters. Clean it by hand rather than in a washing machine to protect the fabric and coating.
