The new Barryvox® S with large reception range and effective search strip width of 70 meters offers users a simple interface and intuitive operation.
This means: clear instructions thanks to simplest operating concept and fast and precise search thanks to Smart Search.
To protect rescuers who are not searching, Mammut integrated the Rescue SEND function in the Barryvox® S.
In the event of an afterslip burial, the device automatically switches to SEND to locate the buried rescuer.
Additionally, the Barryvox® S is equipped with the Smart Search function, which interacts with the searching rescuer's actions.

Smart search interacts with the rescuer's actions during search. This makes searching easier and more reliable
Multiple burials: signal analysis and signal separation with multiple buried victims
Buried victims can be selected in the burial list, marked (MARK), and unmarked (UNMARK)
Automatic send mode switchover (Auto Revert): if a rescuer doesn't move for 4 minutes, Mammut assumes an afterslip and the device switches to SEND mode (motion sensor controlled)
Rescue SEND is a protection feature for rescuers not searching in case of afterslip burial by automatically switching to SEND so the rescuer can be located again
Auto guidance: device guides the rescuer to the buried person even if signals fail or interfere
Vital data: 3D sensor helps the rescuer focus resources on buried victims with the highest chance of survival
Advanced search settings: individually configurable search settings: per search; acoustic guidance and visual guidance; automatic send switchover (auto-revert)
Alternative search mode (analog mode) helps solve demanding search scenarios

In-stock items usually ship from our warehouse within 1 to 3 working days. If the item is in stock in one of our stores, you can also pick it up there free of charge.
