McKinley Ataru Men black night

The McKINLEY Ataru for men in Black Night is a lightweight shell jacket for walking and other activities in changeable weather. Reference 422368/057 identifies this black version. Its stretchy construction suits active movement, and it can be packed into a separate bag when not required. This is useful on outings where you want to carry an extra weather layer without wearing it throughout the day.

The 2.5-layer AQUAMAX laminate provides protection from wind and rain with a stated hydrostatic head of 10,000 mm. The fabric uses recycled polyester. S.CAFÉ functional fibre with coffee extract supports odour management. An attached hood extends coverage around the head, while a chin guard covers the contact area at the zip. Elastic Lycra cuffs finish the sleeves and hem.

Try the jacket over the layers you expect to wear underneath. Check freedom of movement when raising your arms and assess how the hood fits. The appropriate clothing combination depends on temperature, wind and activity level. After a wet outing, let the jacket dry fully before packing it into its bag. The care guidance specifies a 30°C easy-care wash. Do not tumble dry or iron, and also follow the instructions on the garment’s own label.
