Deuter Kinderrucksack Schmusebär

The Deuter Schmusebär is an 8-litre children's backpack for nursery, outings and small everyday adventures. A drawcord and a single buckle close the main compartment, keeping operation straightforward for children learning to pack and unpack their own belongings. A lid pocket and two stretch side pockets provide additional space for organising smaller items.

The Contact back system has a padded contact area. Child-friendly shoulder straps with soft edges and a height-adjustable chest strap support a comfortable fit. Deuter lists external dimensions of 33 × 21 × 15 cm and a back-length range of 24–30 cm. Reflective details can improve visibility but do not replace supervision or care around traffic. Colours and printed motifs vary with the selected option.

Try the pack on the child and adjust the shoulder straps so it sits close to the body without discomfort. The chest strap should help stabilise it without restricting movement. Pack only what is needed and distribute the load evenly, with heavier objects closer to the back. Check the buckle and drawcord before setting off. Remove dirt gently and let the pack dry completely, then store it somewhere dry between outings.

In-stock items usually ship from our warehouse within 1 to 3 working days. If the item is in stock in one of our stores, you can also pick it up there free of charge. In Pfronten this also works for items that are only in stock in Ronsberg: we bring them over, which usually takes 2 to 4 days. The pickup note above and the checkout show where and when you can pick up. Statutory warranty rights apply, plus the manufacturer's guarantee where one is granted. You can return unused items within 14 days of receipt; register the return in your customer account.
