Giro Radix matte black

The Giro Radix in Matte Black is a cycling helmet for mountain-bike tours and trail riding. Its In-Mold construction bonds a polycarbonate outer shell to the impact-absorbing EPS liner. The extended shape also covers the back of the head. Twenty-five Wind Tunnel vents and internal channels support airflow while you ride.

The Roc Loc 5.5 system lets you adjust the fit around your head. The P.O.V. visor adjusts through up to 15 degrees, and CoolFit pads provide the contact surface inside the helmet. Its approximate 280 g weight is a reference and may vary with size. Choose by head circumference: S covers 51–55 cm, M 55–59 cm, L 59–63 cm and XL 61–65 cm. Matching a circumference range is no substitute for trying on the helmet.

The helmet should sit level and securely without moving around when you shake your head. Adjust the straps as well and fasten the chin buckle before riding. Regularly inspect the shell, EPS, straps and buckle. After a significant impact, assess further use according to the manufacturer’s instructions even if little damage is visible. Follow the manufacturer’s care guidance for cleaning and drying.
