Race Face CINCH PF30 Bottom Bracket 30 mm 68/73 mm

The Race Face CINCH PF30 bottom bracket connects a compatible PF30 frame with a suitable 30 mm-spindle crank. The press-fit cups are pressed into the intended bottom-bracket shell. Shell diameter is 46 mm, with a corresponding shell width of 68 or 73 mm. Aluminium cups, a plastic inner sleeve and seals complete the construction. The actual frame and crank dimensions are essential because similarly named bottom-bracket standards can use different dimensions.

Selection and use

Compare the frame and crank approvals and required spacers before installation. This bottom bracket is intended for PF30 and must not be fitted into another interface based only on a similar name. Use the correct pressing tool and manufacturer’s procedure. Have a bicycle workshop perform the work if you lack experience.

Care and inspection

Regularly check the crank assembly for play, noise and rough rotation. Clean the bearing area gently and avoid direct pressure washing. Have unusual noises investigated properly before replacing further components. After installation or servicing, check free rotation and secure attachment of the complete crank assembly.
